AIDS Walk Kansas City 2026 - HEARTLAND MEN'S CHORUS
Randy Hite
The Kansas City AIDS WALK is happening on Saturday, April 25h, 2026, and I’ll be walking with my team, the HEARTLAND MEN’S CHORUS.
I have been singing with the HEARTLAND MEN’S CHORUS since 1986, and I have been participating in AIDS WALK since the days when it was called “THE WALK FOR LIFE”. (A long time ago).
There are many reasons why I walk:
1. I walk to remember my friends who died from AIDS
2. I walk because I can.
3. I walk because I’m a survivor. We are all survivors.
4. I walk because we need to talk about it. AIDS hasn’t gone away.
5. I walk to end the stigma
6. I walk to educate people about HIV prevention and treatment.
I sincerely thank you for your support, as do the people who will benefit from the services provided by the AIDS Service Foundation.
All of the money raised stays in Kansas City and is split between these organizations:
KC Care Health Center
The KC Care Health Center exists to promote health and wellness by providing quality health care services, at no charge, to people without access to basic care. Today the clinic provides basic health care services in general medicine, HIV prevention and primary care, behavioral health, and dentistry.
SAVE, Inc. provides comprehensive housing solutions to empower socially and medically disadvantaged people to improve their health and lead stable lives with dignity.
Hope Care Center
Hope Care Center is a non-profit skilled, long-term-care nursing facility for persons challenged by HIV/AIDS. Our small size enables us to create an environment more like "home" than an institution.
Donating through my website is simple and totally secure.
