The big week is upon us! It has been such a great campaign to date this year. Thank you to each and every one of you who have been doing so much to ensure this year’s AIDS WALK supersedes our wildest expectations! I have no idea how many Team parties were held this past weekend but I do know the ones I attended were grand, fun and greatly successful! Thanks to all of our fabulous Team Captains who have been encouraging and motivating their team members to go the extra mile...it truly makes a difference and the winners are those brave men, women and youth who depend on the services and programs provided by our local HIV/AIDS service organizations.
The AIDS WALK Steering Committee joins me in thanking for all you are doing this week as we come into the home stretch! See you Saturday as we hit the streets of Kansas City reminding our town that we care, that the cause goes on and we all look forward to the day when this event is no longer necessary. But until then, we will continue to care, hope and WALK!
