Invitation for Applications for Community Grants

Each year, the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City responds to a number of requests for community grants through a Request for Applications process. Monies for grant awards are raised through AIDS Walk Kansas City and various other fundraising activities on behalf of the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City (ASF) and are based on a percentage of total funds raised. Presently, we are soliciting applications from organizations providing innovative, direct-service projects including, but not limited to, education, prevention, advocacy, intervention, and day-to-day support.

Request Deadline

Grant requests are only accepted once a year and we invite you to submit your application before June 1, 2011.

About Community Grants

When you support the AIDS Service Foundation you are helping many organizations in our hometown that would not have otherwise received additional funding for their HIV/AIDS programming.

Monies for grant awards are raised through AIDS Walk Kansas City and various other fundraising activities on behalf of the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City (ASF) and are based on a percentage of total funds raised. The Committee solicits applications from organizations providing innovative, direct-service projects including, but not limited to, education, prevention, advocacy, intervention, and day-to-day support.

Eligibility requirements

• 501(c) (3) IRS status
• The organization's mission must match the goals of the ASF mission.
• The organization must be in the five-county Kansas City metropolitan area (Jackson, Clay, and Platte counties in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas)
